My work is an ongoing attempt to come to terms with my own as well as a shared awareness of domestic spaces particular to women. It takes on a fantasy role over what happens in these spaces. Particularly, the kitchen; it becomes a center of power and control.

 

My practice involves sculpture, photography, drawings, video and performance. Through engaging in personal histories and experiences, I see the materials that I work with taking gender roles, memory, longing, belonging, rejecting as well as celebrating the body.
